Sherri Wolfgang is a serious mid-career "Contemporary Renaissance" figurative oil painter. Her life sized paintings are contemporary narratives using the techniques and discipline of the Old Masters. She went to school and trained with renowned contemporary figurative painters James Currie and Jamie Adams at Carnegie Mellon University. Figurative painting is quickly becoming popular as contemporary art explodes.
Her most recent series, "Nick.e.lo.de.on" uses a Westport muse, Nick, who will also be at the opening reception of the show on June15, 5:30-8:00. The exhibition will run from June 1- July 30.
