Can't Miss Shows at the 15th Annual New York Comedy Festival

From November 5-11, the 15th annual New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) will bring comedy fans from around the country together for a week-long laugh fest. As the country's largest comedy festival to date, the NYCF will be featuring a variety of eclectic standup performances from over 200 of the biggest names in comedy, including Tracy Morgan, Bill Burr, and Queer Eye's Jonathon Van Ness and Antoni Porowski. Expanding to seven days this year, the NYCF will present 170+ shows at New York City's most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others. 

Bill Burr: 50 Wednesday, November 7 at 8:00PM – Madison Square Garden Bill developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular with Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon. In 2018, Bill is touring internationally, he will be seen in the film, The Front Runner, starring Hugh Jackman and later this year, the third season of Bill's hit animated Netflix series, F Is For Family, will premiere featuring Bill, Laura Dern and Justin Long as the Murphy family. Catherine Cohen: The Twist?... She's Gorgeous Thursday, November 8 at 11:30PM - Joe's Pub at the Public Theater A show about living, laughing, loving, and losing your debit card five times in one year. Through original songs, standup, and character comedy, Catherine (with the help of Henry Koperski on the keys) will explore the ups and downs of life as an immortal millennial who is tragically unverified on Twitter. Yamaneika Saunders: Rantin' and Ravin' Thursday, November 8 at 8:00PM – Stand Up NY Rantin' and Ravin' is the incredibly funny podcast discussing hot topics in news and entertainment and the panel's daily lives with host Yamaneika Saunders. Jo Koy: Break The Mold Tour Friday, November 9 at 7:30 PM – The Beacon Theatre Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing at a Las Vegas coffee house. As one of today's premiere stand-up comedians, Koy sells-out comedy clubs & theaters across the nation with his infectious and explosive energy onstage. The comedian pulls inspiration from his family, specifically his son, with material that has universal appeal. Tracy Morgan Saturday, November 10 at 10:15 PM – The Beacon Theatre Tracy Morgan is one of the most respected comedians in his field. Starring for seven seasons on NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of Lemon's (Fey) hit variety show, TGS with Tracy JordanMorgan is also currently starring in and executive producing his TBS show The Last O.G.
