Miami's Best Gospel Artists Paired with Nationally Renowned Gospel Headliners for 2019-2020 Season!

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) is proud to announce the return of FREE GOSPEL SUNDAYS, now in its 13th consecutive season. Taking place in the Center’s acoustically superb John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall, the 2019-2020 FREE GOSPEL SUNDAYS series kicks off with Florida native LE’ANDRIA JOHNSON (@leandriaj) on October 27. That afternoon’s performance will feature a special appearance by the Stellar Award-winning choir, MIAMI MASS CHOIR (@miamimasschoir). The series continues with JONATHAN McREYNOLDS (@jonmcreynolds) on December 15, LISA KNOWLES SMITH & THE BROWN SINGERS(@iamlisaknowlessmith) on February 23 and THE KINGDOM CHOIR (@thekingdomchoir) on April 26. Each concert will also spotlight some of the best new gospel artists from across South Florida. WPLG Local 10 Anchor CALVIN HUGHES (@calvinlocal10) returns as series host.


First-Access Passes* for LE’ANDRIA JOHNSON’s performance on October 27 will be available beginning October 9 at noon. 

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a variety of pre-show activities and giveaways before each performance.

Now in its 13th season, the 2019-2020 FREE GOSPEL SUNDAYS series is made possible with the leadership support of Rodney and Michelle Adkins, as well as the generous support of the Green Family Foundation, the Israel, Rose, Henry and Robert Wiener Charitable Foundation, the Friends of Free Gospel Sundays, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
